Since its organization in 1910, Rodríguez & Mendoza has, in an uninterrupted manner, provided assistance and legal services to its clients. During the first 15 years, all of the clients were domestic, typical of an agriculture and cattle country. From 1925, when foreign investors started looking for opportunities in Venezuela, specially in the oil area, the firm began to expand its practice to international corporations, and during subsequent years developed a number of very important clients.

The firm was retained by foreign banks to advise them on the first bond issue that the Venezuelan Government made in the middle of the last century.
